I really like the "later production" bluebursts.. I wish it was a standard finish. :(

That is a fantastic bass....I just love the color. I recently admired an FL at the local dealer but fortunately for my marriage it was Jetglo :D

Here is a dumb question; the fretboard on the FL is just gorgeous but I wonder, do the strings chew it up (like they do frets)? I recall Jaco saying in an interview that he didn't practice with his fretless becasue the strings chewed the neck up...of course his wasn't designed as a fretless in the first place.

Yeah ! I like the walnut wings in blue burst . Im looking into having my 4004Cii FG refinished in BBR .
It's too early in the morning to talk about our relationship !
