The Blue Burst Has Arrived!!!
Yesterday I took delivery of the 4003FL BBR that I ordered two years ago - I have to tell you, it is fantastic! I'll post piccies later, for now I'm just playing it
Many thanks to JH & all the good people at Rickenbacker!

Congratulations Bob!
Glad to see the FL's are being shipped. Does she have the new neck profile and the new/old side dot markers?
There is one on Ebay right now, I'm starting to regret ordering the AFG instead of the Blueburst.

Tony
She has the new neck profile, the vintage tone selector & adjustable poles on the pups. The markers on the fingerboard are dots in the standard place, but the side dot markers are where the frets would be (3rd, 5th, 7th etc) which is exactly what I wanted!
As for ordering the AFG, as Bob says, get both!!

I like the way you think Bob A., but the wife would have something to say about that! I've been a bad boy this year and for now, I'm on a short leash.
I still have a BBR 4004Cii on order as well as the AFG FL, so I guess I'll just have to wait my turn in line.
But I have to admit, this color really grew on me. I like the way the white binding looks on the BBR color. Very nice. Bob C,
Funny, you guys think alike!
Your link states we need a password to see them, take your time, enjoy the bass and then take some nice pictures!

Hmmm - I'm confused. If I click on the link to the pics I get the facebook.com log in prompt, but if I cut the link & paste it into the address pane I get straight to the pictures. Now when I first posted the link it didn't have the address tag, but I edited it - is the original link still cached? The correct link is :-
