Great clip, Tom! That was a song from his CD "Zooma." Manson basses are very cool! I hope to visit Andy's shop when I'm in the UK next month.

Kind of has a 'Song Remains the Same' vibe. Saw JPJ at the House of Blues LA on his Zooma tour, a great night with a master. Never got to see Zeppelin but did see both Page/Plant tours. First one had the Egyptian orchestra along with a local philharmonic which was quite amazing. Second tour seemed to try to replicate Zeppelin; 4 piece rock band but no Jones/Bonham.

I saw JPJ on the Zooma tour at Manchester; a smallish, relatively intimate gig. It was fantastic. Nick Beggs was amazing on Stick. JPJ had a cool assortment of Manson multistrings. I had a brief chat with Andy afterwards as they were packing the basses away.

Oh, one thing I do remember; I went with a friend who's a huge Zep fan, and at the end of the gig we were leaning on a flightcase as they were packing up; we looked down and it said "Led Zeppelin" on it. My friend was beside himself that he'd actually touched a Zeppelin flightcase!

About the Paul Gilbert clip. It's funny but even with the P-pickups the 4000 retains a Rick tone, so why change?

One of my good friends already has purchased tickets. Apparently friends and family of the band members have a couple hundred each available, now.

An attempt at hum reduction?

My 4000 hums less than my 4001.
Could the amount of wiring effect the pick up of outside noise signals?

Yes, but in your case it is probably due to only one pickup being a noise receptor, the other one being absent on the 4000.

Well, I've just got an email to say that I got tickets, but I want to be 100% sure it is not a scam before I part with my money. Any ideas...?

Trace the email and see who owns the server who sent it you. Also do the same with the link to the CC payment location.
