I posted this one over on the basses forum. It is from McCartney's "Back to the Egg" where the 4001S bass gets some good angles. It is also one of the more rocking songs from the recording. It seems like youtube has just about all of "Back to the Egg" in video form:

Most treble I've heard from Paul is on Junior's Farm rehersal - through an Acoustic:

Then look what he's playing on a live version! Oh, wait, they're pulling a Milli Vanilli.....

This website has a forum, so maybe someone on their might know:
http://www.hollowbodybass.com
It sure isn't in my "Bass Book" (Bacon & Moorehouse).
That clip is the only time I've seen him "play" it. Good find John.

I believe I got it. The K on the headstock looked like the Kay logo, and searching for a while turned up this. Thanks for a link to that site!

Hey Buddy ---
I like your You Tubes. Good stuff.
I had stumbled upon your You Tube postings several months ago, but at that time I do not think you were a Forum member. So anyway, a belated welcome to this Forum.
Regards - Rich F.

Here's another (
Cold as Ice promo video):

I didn't realize the bassist in Foreigner played a Ric. It also looks to be a pre-73. Good shot around 1/3 through the video.
It was all luck in finding this one, as I simply felt like finding some old Foreigner on youtube.

That is a great live version of "Eton Rifles"! Thanks for posting it Scotty.

Interesting note; Weller's using a Marshall half stack in this video, and the track is obviously live. I actually like the song better without the organ part in the middle. Thanks for sharing! too bad embedding's not allowed for the viedo-I'd like to put it on my My Space page

Where's Mitch to give us a little history on this one? Awesome stuff. I knew I loved the MB 330's for a reason.

The Turtles. Live performance. Good song. 2 Rics. They appear to be 360s, either six or twelve.
