Wes, no that's the 75th Ann. Dark Cherry Metallic 4003. Depending on the lighting, the color can look nearly black, to, well, dark cherry metallic! Here is "Cherry" by herself:

I sold the Jetglo to Phillip Hanaart in the Netherlands, and although an excellent instrument, he turned it soon after looking for something more vintage, IIRC.

The stands are the QuickLoc type that hold five instruments. Jeff Scott had one at the Columbus Confluence three years ago (can it be?) and it took me a while to find a source. I ended up buying three of them from Full Compass in Middleton, Wisconsin:

Paul,
Thanks for the link. I can't believe these are less than $50. Are they as sturdy as they look? Do they break down?

Hi everyone! I hope you are ALL doing well :D
Someone had mentioned how hard it would be to let the bass go... it was REALLY hard.
It was a ~7 month wait from Dale, along with the other work, parts, etc...
It was a "replacement" for my long lost '68 (seen in the thread mentioned). Unfortunately I had to raise funds for medical expenses.
I sold several things that held sentimental value to me, but they are just things after all.

Paul was a pleasure to deal with, and I am VERY happy that it went to one of you guys (gals too!)
Cheers, and best wishes to my RicFriends

Paul I think you ought to install a tug bar on that baby.

Since its so white,(nothing wrong with that by the way), I think the clear tug bar would add just the right amount of contrast.

I suppose I could. I have one bass with the tug bar, my "mink" '72, and although I love playing it, I find I don't use the bar as designed, and when I pick, I keep banging my little and ring fingers on the edge. I'm thinking about taking it off (keeping it and the holes, of course).

I used the "Snow White" at band practice the other day. Sean had Rotosound rounds on her, and lately I've been playing TI Jazz Flats on my "mink." Since my band doesn't need the aggressive growl from round-wounds, I'd rather reduce the wear on my fingers (not to mention the frets) and play flats. So I got a new set of TIJFs and strung 'em on "Snow White." She sounds nice and smooth, with a little brightness for character.

Hey Sean! Whatever the problem is, I'm pulling for you. Hang in there! All the best. :)
Paul, care to tell us how that sweet thing sounds? After all - IIRC - the treble pickup on it was put together by yours truly...

I believe it is one of yours, Sergio. How does it sound? Well, to be truthful, my ears are not sophisticated enough to make differentiations from one bass to another. I just don't care, really. This one does have the push/pull "vintage tone" thingie installed, and I can certainly notice the drop in boom tone on the treble pickup with that, but for me to say that a certain pickup has more of this or less of that would be just pissin' in the wind. They all sound great to me!

Absolutely beautiful Bass Paul. The white with white guard is really stunning. Dale does fantastic work.
...went in to buy a 52' Tele and walked out with a 360 Jetglo...
