It's very difficult to find the perfect living place in terms of weather. I still find it hard to understand that people actually like cold weather, but there are...

Coming from a cold place, and now living in the sun, it's the one thing for many that impacts quality of life the most...

Well, that is a risk, but you do know they are coming. Living in the north, you know you are going to have winter every year, and many days without sun, and it's that which impacts one's quality of life percentage wise.

I have friends from Chagrin Falls who visit here all year round. They could live anywhere, but business keeps them there on a day to day basis. They never want to go home....

[quote="scotty"]The grass sometimes seems greener on the other side Mel,but usually its just the same.Heres a wee song from a Lass that should cheer you up.

It really is warming up here a little bit.... at least we're above zero again!

Here's the latest rendition of that song, which I performed at a Grand Marais musician's showcase over the weekend. When the going gets tough, the tough make music!

Unfortunately I couldn't drag my good friend Billy D. back up here from his wintering spot in Florida to provide the tropical ambience on the keyboards....can't say that I blame him one bit!
