LoL Jim,

Sweet GEETAR you got there, love the flame!

Me? Irish? LoL! I've been called MANY, MANY things in my life.....Irish isn't one of them....SURE could use the luck of the Irish though!

I have as much Irish in me as you have Italian!

ALTHOUGH, we did watch Darby O'Gill and the Little People, as tradition dictates.

WELCOME CHERYL,

Glad you came out of the LURKING MODE!

Tony, you're definitely funny enough to be considered 'honorary Irish'...you've got some serious 'blarney' goin' on, brother...

Also recommended for traditional Irish viewing: Waking Ned Devine...

AN IRISH BLONDE IN A CASINO

An attractive blonde from Cork , Ireland arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet twenty-thousand Euros on a single roll of the dice.

She said, 'I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude'.

With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, 'Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!'

As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed...'YES! YES! I WON, I WON!'

She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed.

The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked, 'What did she roll?'

The other answered, 'I don't know - I thought you were watching.'
Tony, you didn't finish the joke!

MORAL OF THE STORY -
Not all Irish are drunks, not all blondes are dumb, but yes, all men...are men.
[My sister insists that this is part of the joke. I am humoring her . . . ]

Okay, here's another . . .

Two young Irishmen, Patrick & Michael, were adrift in a lifeboat following a dramatic escape from a burning freighter. While rummaging through the boat's provisions, Patrick stumbled across an old lamp.
Secretly hoping that a genie would appear, he rubbed the lamp vigorously.

To the amazement of Patrick, a genie came forth. This particular genie, however, stated that he could only deliver one wish, not the standard three. Without giving much thought to the matter, Patrick blurted out, "Turn the entire ocean into Guinness Stout!"

The genie clapped his hands with a deafening crash, and immediately the entire sea turned into the finest brew ever sampled by mortals. Simultaneously, the genie vanished.

Only the gentle lapping of Guinness on the hull broke the stillness as the two men considered their circumstances. Michael looked disgustedly at Patrick whose wish had been granted. After a long, tension-filled moment, he spoke:

"Nice going Patrick! Now we're going to have to pee in the boat!"

THanks Ron,

ACTUALLY, I DID have it in there, but MY wife told me that it was "in poor taste" and that I should remove it! :?

Funny you say that Dane....about 80% of my friends are full Irish, and in my younger days, they would talk me out on St. Patty's day to Shannhan's, a local watering hole, and the entire place would buy me drinks until I'd pass out! They would all say "we love the fact that a nice Italian boy such as yourself would come out and join us for St. Patty's"...."your money is no good here"....at one point, before I passed out, there were 32 shot glasses in front of me....well, at least it LOOKED like 32!

To this day, if I EVEN just see Bacardi's 151, I do a Graham!

Yes, Tony...and I've had similar experiences with a bunch of Italians. Ain't America (for all of it's problems) a great place?
