Happy St. Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. Any greenbursts out there?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

It's going to be 70 in the D today! Passing out in the street is the order of the day.

Take me to the Abbey Tavern for a few pints of green ale, then Plough & Stars for a few more and I'll show you "greenburst". Ah, it may be Saint Paddy's Day, but here in The City That Knows How we call it Amateur Night. Have fun and be safe, everybody!

This is a day to celebrate all things Irish including the mystery of the shamrock and the shillelagh.
Happy St. Patrick's day ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. The event really has little to do with drinking green beer. That is a more modern innovation. But if you must, drain a pint or two for me while you are at it.

Happy St. Pat's Day!
Re: Happy St. Patrick's Day
Peter, I am a bit surprised at your question, as there is no "greenburst" finish listed in the Register as being available for Rickenbackers.admin wrote:Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. Any greenbursts out there?
Nonetheless, there is at least one "greenburst" out there to set the mood for the holiday, as well as two lovely new 4004Ciis in Trans Green. Here's to the "wearin' o' the green!
Re: Happy St. Patrick's Day
I wore a green shirt today...you'd be surprised the number of people who don't wear green to school..including my best friend Jacob!
Re: Happy St. Patrick's Day
Still in recovery from Saturday's parade, so I'm celebrating with a moratorium on whiskey and a one day amnesty for any snakes that may be in my back yard.
(Well, okay...maybe just a little whiskey...)

You didn't specify Rickenbackers, Peter, so:
Re: Happy St. Patrick's Day
It's been and gone here and I didn't get a chance to celebrate at all this year...... wish the powers that be would make it a public holiday!!
You'd think with 50% Irish blood in my veins I'd be fizzing at the bung looking to head down to O'Reilly's or O'Meara's for a real good craic but alas, work and other things took my mind off it to a large extent......... bugger!!
Oh well.... at least I had a few ales last night. Gotta show old St. Pat some respect!!

"Fizzing at The Bung" sounds like a great name for a pub.......
