I play hard rock, classic rock, metal,blues, rockabilly and whatever else is on the list where ever I play.....no one ever says anything but "nice Ric, that sound was awesome"

doesnt hurt its the only bass I take with me when I play out but I dont get that some people think its only for playing Yes, Rush or the Beatles which I dont ever play

i've used my 4003 ric in everything from country to metal encluding blues. i use it in gospel music now days. slap & pop is no prob either. anyone who says rics are a "one trick pony" well they just don't know what there talking about !

My son has been after me to use the Ric more, so I tried it again at the blues jam last night. Either it was something in the air, the way the amp was set up....not sure but it sounded AWESOME. Most every person in the place had something to say about the sound. Made it a fun night.

Ya know, so many folks see a JG 4001 with checkered binding as the ultimate retro bass, which is fine. But for me, it's your FireGlo!
