Congrats. There was a time when I wanted one (BBR) very bad (and had one on order).

My latest: 2010 JetGlo. Sorry for the less than elegant pic - my better ones are on another computer that I don't have access to right now. I'll try and update soon.

Aside from adding the neck toaster, I added a white pearl acrylic pick guard from Pick Guardian - thanks to Jeff Scott (jps) for the design inspiration and Tony at Pick Guardian for shipping it out so quickly. Also HUGE thanks to Chris Clayton at Pick of the Ricks for setting it up so beautifully and having it ready for me so quickly after delivery.

I gotta tell ya Rick has really dialed it all in with these 2010s - thin two-piece neck, push/pull pot, adjustable pole pieces, CNC-machined no-rattle saddles, UV finish - it plays and sounds like a dream and I'm still experimenting with all the different tones you can achieve with this bass. It's also one of the best buys out there. Between about six rehearsals and two gigs with two different bands, this bass is going to have a busy month.

This one is my latest, No. 20 (if you count two that I've never yet seen!). Just bought it from a guitar shop in Vancouver off eBay. You may recall it was first listed at more than 2gs, then after no bids, they took it down to 1g, and then it sat with no bids for nearly a week. I bid "somewhere in the middle" and ended up winning it. Aside from a scuff by the jackplate, it is in perfect condition. A 2004 built, it is one of only two that I'm aware of in Turquoise. The other one is nearby in Milwaukee. Anyone know of any other 4004L in Turquoise?

Agreed - sharp looking bass. Tony's favorite color too!

With that list of improvements, all that's missing is CB.

Well, I got the BBR as a collection piece, another in the quest to have all COYs, but for IRS purposes I took it out last night to le gig. It's SO good that I'll probably use it for work, at least for a while. :D
In the lower light in the club, the burst factor doesn't show up as much, contrast appears minimal.

I too must wait till next week for my new-to-me Rick. As usual, when something new arrives, something old must depart. In this case, my customized 4004Cii5FLMG.

I sent the bass to RIC and they replaced the body/neck, so basically everything wooden
.....
If it is new wood we at least need new pictures i.m.h.o..
Here you go:

I like the wood on this one! (doesn't photograph as well as I'd like):

Proving that it's a 2-piece. I love the neck profile--flatter than the original 2009 body had.

My latest, but not so recent:
4001FL 017.jpg
I've since replaced the A saddle to fix the string alignment. Couldn't find a vintage saddle, unfortunately.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

I grabbed my beautiful Cheyenne from a dealer on ebay. I got it in April this year brand new, even though its a 2008 model. I got it for a good price, but of course got stung by the Taxman  here at Customs in Australia, but it was worth it, I reckon she's some serious eye candy :D
Mine has the one piece neck, which is a nice point of difference on the headstock compared to my 2009 MG 4003
