You sold it to me Henny five years ago. I had it up til last year, and I sold it to Matt Baker at Action Music. I put D'Addario flatwound Chromes on it, and it sounded heavenly. I sold it because Paul W. refinished my other 4003S and I really didn't need two of them. Unfortunately, I don't know who has it now... Best of luck finding another!henny wrote:I'm on the hunt for a 4003S, prefrably Jetglo - I sold one to somebody on here about 4 years ago!!

As I suspected...The real RM bass has been under a English bed since the mid 60's. Chris has been playing a Shaftesbury/Greco copy since then, and now the secret's finally out...johnhall wrote:Hmmm. According to our records, both DC126 and DC127 are invalid serial numbers and don't appear on any Rose Morris invoices. DC193 IS a valid number.
Pete...Good post. Thanks for the info on this one as we add another to the list. Possibly....

I had a look at it too, and passed because of the developing headstock issues. Someone will give it some lurve eventually.

I must give it a break and have no more than two-at-a-time in it.
