It might be that one can feel quite masculine when playing a Ric, no doubt. These guitars are magnates. However, my Rics are sweet babes. My girls :D

I always thought Rickenbackers were a bit "girly", which I consider a plus! And I don't think Rickenbacker has ever gone down that Texas-Route 66-Bluesdude "masculine" advertising vibe, thankfully.

Me too. The same goes for Fenders or for that matter, any single coil guitar. I alway think of super hot humbuckers or hockey stick headstocks whenever someone talks about "masculine" or "macho" guitars.

My Ric, she's called Maple, is so pretty I think I should put make-up in her case.....(if that's not being too sexist :? )
