Not too bad Charly...just got a time crunch finishing my custom 4008. How's your 4001 carcass coming along?

Sure thing on the tickets, Dane.
Work calls, John. But thanks for the consolation. And for sure on the next Rickfest in these parts. Glad lots of folks will document the festivities for the rest of us later this month.
So far this year, I went to NAMM, bought two Ricks and have another on order, and I'll get out to Ellis Island soon to see the exhibit that includes Adolph.
So I have to count my blessings. No matter what, it's been one of my best Rick years to date.

Dane - I gave up. I was in over my head. I sold it to Ted and maybe we will see it down the road. I sold my jetglo, bought a 2004 fireglo, and used the money from the 4001 to have Jeff do his 5 string mod. I love it and that is now the only bass I own.

..and I am loving the Jetglo Charly! Plays great. I hope to get an Anniversary 4003 to go along with it!

hopefully this security mess will be resolved by then.
If not-no electronics onboard.
There's gonna be a lot of "missing" items from checked bags...

I rarely see the LA weekly where I live, only the OC weekly. That article wouldn't happen to be published there also?

Nope only the LA Weekly. It is however over on our site too.

I've got two HOB 75th VIP tickets available, no Ticketmaster charges (which is more than you can say for Ticketmaster.)

Marty Willson-Piper will be there! Have to wonder why Davida is listed as playing lead (though she's a great guitarist as my ears can attest).
