I love this song, and the whole EP it's from-I have a copy on vinyl.

The hair was even bigger live! Kinda like it. :D Check out some of the live footage video clips.

The guitar is actually AG blue-the video predates the introduction of MB; I saw Mitch and the rest of Let's Active open for Echo and the Bunnymen at the Hollywood Palladium in the spring of `84. The video is from before the tour. I remember watching that one on MTV, and then being really excited that Let's Active was opening for the Bunnyment because I was going to be able to see two really cool bands that I liked! this video is the reason why I ordered AG blue for my 360 WB. I think I ordered one of the last, because mine was made in November of `84.
:D

Here are a couple of old REM videos, same song (So Central Rain) - one is on Letterman and the second is the promo video. One of my favorite old REM songs. REM is probably why I got a Jetglo 4001S back in 1984 rather than a Fireglo or Mapleglo:

(The sound on the second one is much better.)

These may have already been posted elsewhere, but I thought what the heck.

Sweet -- I had not followed this thread for a couple days. I dunno why, but "RFE" will always be one of my favorites:

Regarding the Alan Jackson video -- What model Rick is that?
I see which guitar it is, but I can't tell what it is.
Is it a blonde 360/6 with black pickguards?

This is another promo (as opposed to concert) video, but it is a bit rare as it has been off youtube for a bit. It is "Jimmie Jones" from the Vapors. I had to be me and post another bass related one I guess. It was also recently posted on the Ric corporate forum as well:

I bet you've heard this tune - Ric bass also present ("the" Vapors song):

The bass has a black pick guard on this one - or it's another bass.

Not from the 80s - someone posted a link to it over a year or two ago. Didn't remember it until you put it here again.

I spent a lot of the 80s (mid on) listening to NPR and AM Talk radio. Let me add XM eventually saved my sanity (some of you may debate that! ).

In Tribute To Mike Smith, here's the Dave Clark Five. Lenny Davidson has a 365. Bad song, toward the end, but a good group overall. RIP Mike Smith. Too bad he didn't live to be inducted into the RRHOF next week. According to the news releases, he was scheduled to fly back to the US, no small undertaking, since he was confined to a wheelchair.

Here are The Hollies, miming to The Air That I Breathe, with Tony Hicks holding a Ric 12. Does anybody know what model it is? Eric Clapton was quoted as saying he was impressed with this guitar lick. This appears to be a 12 string. Song almost certainly is a six string, so this is a situation where somebody is holding a guitar that wasn't played in the studio. Anyway, it's a Ric.

Yeah, nice round RIC-o-tone!

Very 80s, very catchy tune! :D :D

You've heard at least one song by the Vapors, you just didn't know the name of the band :D

I know my basses, but not sure on guitars, but I'd say that Hollies video shows a 450/12. Also, the lead vocal is live on that, not the same as the record, but the backing music sounds like the record. Kinduva mix live and lipsynch.
