Something that caught my eye was the 360F with what looked like a translucent gold top pickguard.

I like your glasses John.
Funny you should mention those! I used to really like the Tag Hauer glasses but hated the price tag . . . my optician suggested Gunnar Optiks as an alternative and they're pretty indestructible as well as cheap.

I hate that YouTube "cover shot"; it looks like I'm having a Henry Juszkiewicz moment.
I like the glasses too. They are very Modern.

Thanks for posting, John. I'm blown away by how long it takes to buff a guitar. You should be very proud of preserving "craftsmanship" instead of constantly looking for mechanized ways to take people out of the product.

So many companies have huge robotic buffing arms these days that it is a certain source of pride that our guys know how to do it so well the old fashioned way. That's not to throw stones at those guys, some of them are friends, but it reminds of a "if you were stranded on a desert island, would you know how to make fire?" situation.

It is a very physically demanding job as well. Plus, if you're not paying attention, that wheel is able to grab the guitar right out of your hand and smash it on the ground.

Oh, but it must have the cat's eye Soundhole. . . maybe a Western option with an "R" brand in the corner. haha. :D

Not going to happen any time soon, I'm sure, but after picking up my 6120 Nashville Western last week I was thinking how cool it would be to own a Rick archtop hollowbody; that one would get played to death as well. :)
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

"Uh, I like the double bounds. . . ."

They will be smaller soon... seen something somewhere

Anyway, I think the human touch is something which will be hard to replicate with a robot.
