Bird's eye, with the walnut stripe head stock.
Black bound head stock.
Checker binding.
Low impedance output
Ebony finger board.
Other than that they stink.

The fact you can go directly to the console is especially significant to me as I'll be doing this starting in the middle of October.

Makes sense to me. Why re-issue a 4001V68 or a 4005 when you had a model that was ahead of its time to begin with.
Maybe now's the time.

4002 is a nice instrument, but not in the same leauge as a potentially tricked out Fireglo v68 !!!!
