To me, that's not a greenburst. A greenburst would be a mostly natural center, darkening to green around it at the edges. No black.

That black and green Fungus Burst is all-too-common in guitars of that era (mid-to-late 1960s. Burns still makes one like that.

Ugh.

Back to the Orangeglo--I thought I had seen pictures of one recently, too, and was trying to figure out where.... I then stumbled upon what may be one in the "Pictures of YOU playing your Ric" thread under "Rickenbacker General." Check out the first picture listed under "archive through July 8." (Sorry, I can't get links to work within this Forum!) Is THAT an orangeglo? It sure looks cool....

I would call that a mellow Mapleglo under stage lights, M.

In the proper shade of orange, a Ric would look great...

M, it's a great-looking MG.

To me, orangeglo would be a burst-type finish: orange on the edges, fading to almost MG in the center, maybe with an orangeish tinge.

I just clicked the link to the all green Rick 330 and I like that even better than the green sunburst. Does anyone know the whereabouts of that particular guitar?

I also really like the transparent emerald green that Rick offers on the Cheyenne bass. Would it be possible to special-order a 330 or 360 in this color?
