Yeah, well, there's no way that these are going to sound or play better than the Ricks they so slyly copy. Looks like they've looked at all the Rickenbacker trade dress items and tried to find a way around all of them, while still attempting to evoke that Rick DNA.
But, ain't nuthin' like the real thing, baby.

Half the guitars are fake the other half are from the Witty Collection. At least they have good taste!

Hmm, my penchant for bright. flashy finishes must come from the Italian side of my family. Those are over the top even for me though!

I haven't played one of their Ricky copies but when I was looking for a cheap backup for my SG a couple years ago I tried out a couple Dillion's. I hate to say it but they were miles better than the low end Gibson SG's on the market in both cosmetics and playability. I think Gibson QC has really taken a nose dive over the last few years, some of their guitars that I've played recently are really horrible! Thankfully Rickenbacker has never had this problem.
(ps - I ended up buying a Made in USA Hamer Special.)
