Since we had heated discussion on weither Pete gutted a toggle switch into the horn of treble side of his first 1998, I was watching the famous "High Numbers" video from 1964, and saw Pete hold his 1998 to the side slighty, only to see a clear view of the toggle switch. To me, it looks like it has the cream color of a Gibson toggle switch tip as well as the rubber selector ring...think Pete could have gutted a Gibson ES-175 for the switch and the tailpiece?

Not too hard to buy a toggle switch! Most all electronic shops and guitars had a cream topped toggle switch around, just as today.

Where the ES175 tailpiece came from? Likely Marshall's shop I would imagine. At that time, Pete had obviously not owned an ES175. So I doubt both came from the same guitar, but it's a trivial detail nevertheless, ya know?
