Shaun - yeah, 'Space Ritual' is one of my alltime favorite albums, too! The Thunderbird headstock is clearly visible (in silhouette) on the inner sleeve photo of 'Warrior' (not reproduced on any of the CD reissues, unfortunately). I also have an issue of Mojo from a few years back that has some really nice full-color photos of the band rehearsing (with Stacia, yum!) where Lemmy's playing the T-bird. I've heard recordings of the Hawkestra concert, and the bass playing/sound is indeed stupendous during the segment Lemmy played for. And apparently he added the horseshoe top to the LK (which, I agree, does look a bit ridiculous) because he can't play without having it as a handrest!
My basses are Rickenbackers. My synthesizers and recording gear are analog.
