Yes and Frampton to tour again.
Re: Yes and Frampton to tour again.
Sure glad you had no complications this time Tony! And that the show was more than you hoped for. Sounds great. Pics? Sis you get to meet up with Chris again?

Pics will be coming....my friend brought his professional 3K $ camera. He took over 200 shots...he's burning them onto disc for me and I should have it in a few days.johnallg wrote:Sure glad you had no complications this time Tony! Nope, no CS this time. But it's all good, gives me something to shoot for next time!
Re: Yes and Frampton to tour again.
Two quick questions.
1. If Jon Anderson isn't singing with them, who is?
and
2. Someone mentioned the tour where Chris Squire sang "Hold Out Your Hand" at the Mid-South Coliseum. Was that the tour where each member did something from their solo albums?
I remember seeing one in Memphis like that and the solo piece that Jon did was from Olias of Sunhillow and he used an Irish Harp and there were green lasers that moved across the ceiling and the crowd in time to the music. I never really got into the other three solo albums but Olias of Sunhillow and Fish Out Of Water were fantastic. I still listen to both of them.

Re: Yes and Frampton to tour again.
The singer is Benoit David. Check out the Yes World site for a little more on him (under Lineup):

I saw them in Washington DC in Feb… very good show. With Jon not there Chris seems to have assumed a bit more of the front-man role
I think the tour you refer to was in 1976 – this web site is kinda cool for looking at what, where and when – maybe you can find what you are looking for there:

That's for sure!ram wrote: With Jon not there Chris seems to have assumed a bit more of the front-man role
I was amazed at how much Chris was in the front for the first 3 or 4 songs....I was thrilled, although it SEEMED that Chris kept signaling to stage hand that it was too hot!
Re: Yes and Frampton to tour again.
That certainly sounds like the right one. I didn't see a listing for Memphis but it doesn't look like a complete list. It was a really great show as I recall.ram wrote: I think the tour you refer to was in 1976 – this web site is kinda cool for looking at what, where and when – maybe you can find what you are looking for there:

I'm glad it all worked out, Tony!
