Winter Glow...

Post by dannyboy »

Looking outside at the snow banks makes me think that RIC should come out with a special canadian edition colour: Winter Glow!
Hey Peter, what do think?... A white 4003S with yellow bindings to remind us of the snow snakes Image

I'm with you Dannyboy. The pipes are calling ...
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Maybe covered in white fur to remind me of my long-lost huskies. Watch out where the huskies go!

Covered in white fur, maybe you could get ZZ Top to do an endorsement deal... ;-)

Gary - Paul,
Dean guitars already has that deal sewed up with their fuzzy model and the boys in ZZ Top (don't remember the model number but I've seen a pix of it on their website)...
But hey - it's a good idea. There must be something...

What got me about that video ("Legs", wasn't it?) was the swivel mounts on the straps. The first time I saw THAT move I was ROTFL for a week.

Doggie Ricks--a New Breed!!!

Yeah - the spinning guitars was a real neat trick. Made me go out and buy the album just because I thought it was so creative. I saw these guys in concert one time - they were combines with the Beach Boys - didn't make sense to me either but it was a good concert!. I gotta tell ya' - ZZ Top is the loudest band I've ever heard. I thought they did structural damage to the stadium...

I'm sorry--I didn't hear that. Got fuzz in my ears, I think.

Interesting. He's actually going to produce them? I think 750 is a bit ambitious, and he'd better clear it with JH, I would think...

I remember seeing a 4001 copy in the 80's by a company called Northern. I believe this was an Ibanez brand made for the Canadian market. The cool thing about them was that the fingerboard inlays were little maple leaves!

The copy you're talking about,Steve, was made by GOYA on my side of the river. A good friend of mine still owns his! Image

Hey Dan - if you ever get a chance, I'd love to see some pics of your friend's Northern!
