Comparing this to a non Rickenbacker or guitar related forum (www.teampicard.net) which I belong to I feel updating the functionality should be considered as this is very basic. (Just my 2 cents worth)

I went and looked at teampicard, and I feel it looks too cluttered and confusing IMO. This sight is easy to navigate and the information is easy to read.

This site is fine. Functionality is not the number 1 concern. Sharing thoughts are. It works fine for me. It is nice to log on, check things out, leave a few comments and be done. Simple. Besides anything with the name picard in it is a turnoff. But thats just me. I think our moderator Peter lives above ground and has a normal lie. Personally, an site run from the basement of the science building is not for me.

Dan - It's all a matter of preference.
The site that you "site" Image looks fine - but way too busy for me. I'm a simple guy and I like "simple". Plus, this site "feels" like home.
Some people ask me why I live in the country - there's nothing there, no malls, shopping, etc. I just say "it's what it ain't got that makes it good"!
Additionally, Peter does a great job of keeping us at bay - but hey, it's all in love!! He harbors a wealth of knowledge about Rickenbacker guitars.
Don't want to sound like I'm beating up on you - no one is really - we're all died in the wool RIC owners and get real defensive with anything that has to do with Rickenbacker!!! Image Welcome!!!

I've learned more in the 2+ years of participating in this simple site about Rickenbacker Basses than I've learned in the 30 years of playing them prior to joining.
Welcome, Dan.
Is everybody ready?

Welcome Dan. There is nothing like a Fireglo 330. It is always great to hear what others think.

Sorry to hear that. In addition to being the executive producer of Green Acres, he also apparently wrote the Beverly Hillbillies theme song. "Gonna tell you 'bout a story of a man named Jed..."

From what read read today he was the creator and executive producer of Hillbillies, but he didn't create Green Acres, although he did serve as executive producer. Wasn't his daughter Linda Kaye? Didn't she play Betty Joe or Bobbie Jo or Billie Jo?

I do think the other site I mentioned is a bit cluttered. I guess my favorite feature is the "View your posts" on that other site because I tend to lose track of my posts. I'll just have to remember where I've made posts. This site is nice and clean.

Dan: Just go to "Search" on the menu to your left and fill in the information and you can see your posts since your last visit.
