Well, I went to Sam Ash in San Antonio because I saw on Rickenbackers website they were an authorized dealer. They had four beautiful Ricks hanging at the top of 15 foot wall of mainy Fenders. The did have a couple of Gretsches on the bottom. They had a 330FG, 330/12FG, a 360/12FG, and a 360/12MG. I did ask to play the 360/12 in FG. I've never played one before. Wow what a lovely instrument. Played like butter all the way up the neck. Wished they had one with vintage pickups instead of the high gains, but....
I thought it was interesting they kept them so far out of reach, but they were happy to get it down for me. They did kind of grumble when I wanted to plug it into one of the Vox VR amps.
Just goes to show you that great guitars always rise to the top!

I wouldn't buy anything from Sam Ash unless I went through it with a fine tooth comb. The one down here in South FL has two 330-12's on the wall, but they have also been out on the floor. The jetglo one is clearly dinged up, just like every other guitar on their wall. And they have the nerve to put those ridiculous prices on them. I wouldn't pay half the price they charge for their garbage inventory.
