I used to go to some excellent guitar shows in NY. There was always a cool one in Manhattan and Long Island every year. In the fall, the best guitar shows were put on by Toys In The Attic at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. I think Toys In The Attic is no more, unfortunately.
I haven't yet found any really good guitar shows yet in Southern California. If anyone knows of any, please let me know.
