The 4001 had 2 output jacks to play with 2 amplis.
I use 2 mono jacks and....there is no sound.
Do I have to use stereo jacks ?

Luc: You need to have a stereo splitter cord (a stereo cord with one stereo jack that splits to two mono jacks). Plug the stereo jack into the rick-o-sound hole and then the two mono plugs go, one each, into your two amplifiers or two separate channels of the same amplifier. Voila!

Yes Mark, this is correct he said with a Fireglo face. I know because I have absent-mindedly done this on more occasions that I care to admit.

Every time I get my hands on a Ric with the "Ric-o-sound" I rewire it to have 2 mono outputs ... much more functional ... plus every time I get a used ric the "Ric-o-sound" is usually malfunctioning ... I have no desire to plug a stero jack into a bass guitar ... I like mono outputs and then I can use a quality cable like monster or something ...
