That would look fab with the reverse headstock and the dark blue and lighter blue headstock coloring.

I have a Jetglo C64S. I bought it from Pick of the Ricks in early May 2005. Chris apparently ordered it that way despite the fact that it is officially available in the satin natural finish only.
My local Ric dealer told me that Rickenbacker won't go out of its way to make a Jetglo C64 or C64S, but will sell one if a body is not up to standards and decide to paint it.

If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.
I asked Chris about that bass when he was in Charlotte, NC, for a guitar show. He said that the bass was finished like the regular C64, but with the C64S shape and hardware. I've never seen the bass myself, so I'll take his word for it.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again
We usually only do the C Series basses in black if the wood is not up to par. Of course, we know this after the models are officially "in production" so we do not go to any great lengths to do these JG. In other words, if you put one on order, it is likely that it will be made only when we do a run of MG ones and one is bad enough to spray black.

Regarding your question, Don, my C64S has the normal Jetglo finish. It looks pretty interesting to say the least. Someone over in the bass section mentioned that Chris had just gotten it in and I was on the phone as soon as he opened to make the purchase.

It's an interesting from a collector's prospective...
On the one hand, you have this excellent bass in a super rare finish...
On the other hand, the bass was created to be like McCartney's bass, which in JG, it would not be correct.
I guess if you like Sir Paul, the features and love the JG, the instrument would be priceless.
