I think this thread could also be titled: "The beatest Shadow you may ever see"

Weren't there supposed to be only 50 of these things made? I think I've seen around 30 of them on ebay in the past year or two!

Humbuckers? They look like standard single coils to me...but hey, what do I know.

The headstock in several of the pics sure looks green. Poor thing looks like it's been to war a couple of times.

And don't Shadows have darker necks?

I talked to him on the phone. Ed, it is a Shadow.

The guy was nice. He is aware it's a Shadow now, as several people called him. Friendly fellow. He is expecting $1100-$1200 or so. Maybe optimistic? Don't know. I bet he gets $1100.

I talked to him too....seems very nice.
He said I was the 9 person to call him! LOL!!
It is kind of beat up, but still a good player. The "green" will disappear with a good cleaning...

My 4003 Jetglo also look greenish. Any good advice to make it black again?

I suppose the green tint on a jetglo is the same as a yellowed white bass of the same vintage. The clear would have the same UV sensitivity and age according to its enviroment.

Go figure... This one didn't get a single bid when I had it on the bay with an opening bid of 1850 and NR.

If there are truly 50 of them, we know of 38% of the production population. Given that percentage, we could have expected to the whereabouts of 14.4 Rednecks. What gives?

Until the Confluence in Columbus I had never seen a Shadow, "And Then There Were Three"! (where have I heard that before!)
