Carl Wilson and his Rickenbacker

Post by joeyangel »

I have seen some old B&W videos of Carl Wilson playing his Rickenbacker. My question is, did Carl primarily play a six string or a twelve string?
And by the way, the person who is looking to pick up that CW from Nat, he's a good guy for sure. I just bought two guitars from him for a friend.

When I saw them in concert in '66 in Chicago (August, I believe), Carl was using the 6 and pulled out the 12 for "California Girls".

He also played a Casino. By then he was completely weaned off the Oly White Jaguar.
