Elixir Strings

Post by gbenner »

Im a flatwound guy, I usually use Pyramids or Chromes. I want to try a set of rounds on one of my 4003's and I thought the Elixir polyweb's looked interesting. Does any one use them, how do they sound, and how well does the coating last over time. I also see DR has coated strings. Has anyone tried them. Thanks.

Check out the "coated strings" thread below. I have a set of F*nder coated strings and like them so far.

Image I can't believe I missed that thread. Thanks for your answer though.
