Rick Strap.

Post by oreca »

I received my package from Mike Parks, didn't take too long to get it. Easy to order.

I got a Maroon Rick strap which I will hopefully be able to post some pictures of, there's not many on the net... And a pack of compressed round wound 10-42 for the 370.
I can't wait to try out the strings but I want to bring the guitar for a setup so I think I'm gonna wait untill that point... Unless someone thinks they can teach me the old truss rod system... (after reading a bunch of posts I'm still not comfortable doing it...)

Anyways back to the topic of the thread.

The strap is really nice, I love the color, complements Burgundy quite nicely.
My only complaint is that being short, the strap is waaay too big.
Not sure how tall/big the average guitar player is but I've got it on the tightest setting and it's still lower then how I usually play with my old strap.

Sometimes I feel like getting the guitar right up close like Harrison, works great for doing those Roll Over Beethoven's and Long Tall Sally's.

I figure I'll try to bring it somewhere so they can puncture a few more holes in it.

For now I'll just play with the guitar a bit lower, it's not that much of a big deal...
