4005 for sale in the Netherlands

Post by jal »

this was posted today over at the Dude Pit site my home away from home ,,,, "Hi guys,
I know many of you would like to buy a 4005, but because it's raritie never got one.
There's one for sale in a shop in the Netherlands. I can't afford it myself, but I thought I'd let you ric-o-maniacs know
It's supposed to cost around 1900 euros (around 2300 USD)."

I love the mapleglo 4005's, that's a nice bass, I think they're the classiest looking 4005's and you don't see many.

I also see they have Glockenklang amps over there.

I have e-mailed them. Will let you guys know results. That listing is from February. Very doubtful it's still there.

Believe me, they want more than 10 for it;>)

Not sure where Jaime came up with 1900euros. I didn't see a price listed.

The poster
" Menno B " ( this is his first post @ the Dude pit by the way so I don't know anything about him ) listed the price so he must have asked about it , he also added this ,,,
"Mods: I don't know if this is considered spam, I am not selling it myself, just hoping to help out a fellow forumer who's insterested in buying one."
anyway if they still have it & it really is around $2300 , I'm hoping someone here gets it the price seems pretty good for a 4005 these days,
Good luck,

Cheers,

I'll call them first thing Monday morning and give everyone an update. If it was a 60's bass I'd be very keen, but may pass depending on what they say...

That is a '70s bass. Notice the Shedua strip down the middle of the neck and no walnut wings on the headstock, plus it has hi-gain pickups.

Unless the headstock has snapped off and be repaired, I'm interested.
