PM Blues
Anyone have an opinion about PM Blues? They have the Rick I want in stock, for about $300 more than what North Coast has me on a wait list for. I'm a patient man, and an born and raised in Milwaukee (where North Coast is), so I'd rather do business with them, but I was just wondering why PM Blues prices are so much higher. Anyone have thoughts?
Yes Jim, I was wondering that myself. If you a patient man I would wait for Gary.
I bought 2 basses from him a c64 and a c64S, and he has the best prices IMO.
PM Blues has a large inventory, and I think most of their Ric gear has the VP options which will bring the price up, along the vintage cases.
Good luck!

Good point about the PM's options, Bob.
Jim, Chris Clayton from POTR introduced me to Paul from PM Blues at the Philly Guitar Show. He had a very slightly used (looked spankin' new to me) Rick 4001C64S there. He verbally quoted me a MUCH lower price for it than what he had it listed for, so I'm thinking Paul is willing to bend on his pricing.
Good luck on your new aquisition, Jim!

Hi Jim,
Bob Scott is absolutely correct. PM Blues stocks most (if not all)of their RICs with the VP options and only vintage cases. I purchased a 360 with toasters (midnight blue) two years ago. Price was reasonable and very competitive. The biggest selling point to me was the fact that I am the only person that has ever played my guitar. PM Blues is not your typical store front music store. Very few customers visit the store and those that do are NOT the customers that Guitar Center attracts. (Located in RI) They store all guitars in their cases and original shipping boxes. Resulting in pristine condition.
Paul and Shaun are great guys "no high pressure sales tactics either." If you are serious they will work with you on price. Keep in mind that both the toaster pickups and vintage case add about $200-$300. I was very satisfied purchasing my Ric from PM Blues. Good luck.
