You need to move the bridge pickup back a couple of inches and maybe replace them with scatterwound toasters and then you won't even "need" a 4005!

If this is the one, it looks GREAT! Image

How's it sound, Marc?

Laklands are so sweet. Some folks don't like the oval bridge, but I sure do...

Congrats Marc!

Aside from Rickenbackers, Laklands are my favourite brand of bass. Here's my US hollowbody:

It's got a great "thick" tone. A terrific solid sounding bass. Yours looks great Marc - I'm sure you're going to love it!

I picked this up about a month ago, an Ibanez Artcore. $400. I have lots of hollowbody basses but this is my first with a long scale.

I played the bass today, but did not taker her home as they wanted to collect sales tax on the difference from my trade. Saved $110 bucks but have to wait a day for shipping.

Was very impressed with the tonal range and playability. I like being able to split the coils on the pickups. Just a fine bass. I already like the color better in person.

sorry for the dupes. BTW, all photos are taken from G Guitars in New Haven CT where I purchased the bass. They have a terrific selection of high end guitarts and basses.

Wow! If you don't like that finish, well...

This was my first hollowbody bass:

I like that tailpiece a little better, the nameplate too. (Even though I can't see it) Did you take out your 5th knob Jeffrey?
