Does it say the 4001S didn't get a mute 'til '67?

Nice, but he has the truss rod diagram all wrong. The shorter half is on top, that's the part that arches. The way he illustrates it, it doesn't make any sense.

Wow! That's a lot of stuff I wanted to put in my book. Can someone provide the original url for that? When I click on the untranslated button, nothing happens. Probably cached by Google. I would appreciate a hand here, guys.

Above e-mail is inactive. try ed_ardzinski@**** where **** is Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com. I tend to see things inthe hotmail box quicker...

He has the rod upside down, but he has the priciple correct about how it fails, except it's not the end with the nut which pushes the block over, it's the other end, the end before the block that pushes the block over and bends the rods. Incidently a machinest cut off the threaded ends and welded hard steel for the new threaded ends on one of my 4001's and the block hasn't tipped one bit, the hard steel keeps it upright.

Yeah, that sight is pretty accurate and complete, although I do see a few inaccuracies.

One mistake is that the truss rods were changed in 84 not 80. They just turned the old ones around for the first 4 years of the 4003. Another is the picture of the truss rod is upside down and works backwards than they have it.

There are a lot of inaccuracies but a cool way to show the changes so one would understand.
