are you sure ... it is hard to tell from the picture ... it looks stock to me ...
that is a nice clean bass ...
the 4003s5 bass is a nice instrument ... and I like to replace the saddles to get a 2 1/4" bridge spacing to make them more finger friendly ... also the s5 has an overwound treble pickup ... the normal 4003 bridge pickup is wound to 11k ohms ... the 4003s5 bridge pickup is wound to about 15k ohms ... these basses thunder ... I would buy it but I already have 7 5 string ric basses ...
