The Searchers' Spencer James Climbing The Charts

I have learned today that Spencer James is climbing the charts with his song committment. By the Independent playlist of Europe he is currently at number 9. A short review of his album can be found here. I had a very good feeling from the first moment I heard this album. Let's hope this goes to the "toppermost of the poppermost".

I am interested in knowing how influential or predictive the Independent playlist of Europe has been in forecasting the success of recording artists in the past.
