Joe Walsh playing a 230

Post by jwr2 »

I was oil finishing a couple of fender bass necks and I had the TV on and I found the Eagles on and Joe Walsh was playing slide on a Jetglo 230 ... it sounded good and looked good to ...

I also saw on Billy Hinche's (Dino, Desi, and Billy)website, he hand-delivered a Carl Wilson model to Joe W.
Billy was Carl's brother-in-law.

I really love the sound of my 230, especially through my AC30 or high gain amps like a Mesa Dual Recto. I don't much like it through blackface Fenders, but thats ok since I don't play them often. There used to be one available in natural finish at a local store...a '91 I think...but they wanted $900 which is too much for these....at least until I get famous using mine and then everyone will want one!
