Got a great deal

Post by titanic_tony »

I recently bought a '79 Jetglo 4001 from my cousin's friend. It had just been sitting in his house for years (he's a guitar player), and finally asked my cousin if he knew anyone that wanted to buy it. ME, please! Only $500!! It's all original, except for replacement high-gain in the neck position, and pickguard (he kept the originals in the case). I had the cap job done, and now it's my #1.

I would have liked to see your face when you said "ME, please!!!"
Yes, I played one... and I know!

You can't go wrong with a deal like that. I got my '79 in a pawn shop for $180! Plays like a dream!
Never ask "how much worse could it possibly get?"
