Skunk Stipe
I was wondering if the solid colored 4001/4003 gets skunk stripes. I realize this might be a dumb question, but I had to know, anyway. Just curious.
AS an example ...the 360-12 model ......
All of those necks use a three piece laminated neck .
The color is a designation of 'quality'/cosmetic beauty of the instrument.
Best wood goes natural/mapleglo
2nd best wood goes fireglo
Solid colors .....well , the paint hides everything. This is not to say that the wood is defective .... it just might not be matched as well as another guitar nor as interesting as a mapleglo guitar .If there is an epoxy fill somewhere.... it would be coverd by the solid colour.
So to answer the real question ... if one guitar in a series uses a laminated neck ... then they ALL have that feature , no matter what color they are .
