Paul McCartney Specials This Weekend

BBC America will be having a a series of programming specials this weekend honoring Paul McCartney. Shows will include:

"Here, There & Everywhere", a tribute concert to Linda McCartney.
"Paul McCartney: Live At The Carven".
"Parkinson", a 1999 interview with Paul.
"Later With Jools Holland"

My VCR will be up and running.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've seen each of these except the first. The Cavern concert is great, and on DVD. Buy it! And in the Parkinson interview, he actually sings his fabled song "Suicide" which was written for Sinatra, who wisely rejected it. Very funny!

I think on the reruns of the Parkinson show "Suicide" doesn't make the final cut. The original show was 90 minutes and the reruns have been 60 minutes.

That's too bad. Best part of the show, for me. Glad I taped it. And before anyone starts clamoring for dubs, I warn you: my tapes are in a horrible state of disarray.
