330/6 Fireglo... observe this masterpiece

Post by longhouse »

Willcutt got lucky with this one.
Check out the deep, classy Fireglo. The painter was inspired:

Ouch...I would pass right by that 360/12. That first one's a beaut.

They have a 381V69 that looks like a bowling alley. Virtually no flame.

With one exception, I've purchased all my Rics from Bob (Willcutt). I remember ordering my first one, a 360V64 JG, Bob told his number one sales guy 'these are going to be hot'. More and more Rics began moving through the shop. Image

For years a '66 340 collected dust there. The top was completely tiger-striped, burgundyglo. A fool I was to not buy it.

IMHO ... the colosr of the new 360 Fireglos is WAY to orangy to pinky.
They look too mych like candy.

a darker ruby color fading into a lighter reddish-brow would be better.

Well, it will probably turn out that way.

Be patient.

I agree Kent. I recently had a new 330FG which was so bright, that I couldn't live with it. I love the '90's, dark fireglo.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.
