Rick 320/325 Question...

Post by blackdog »

Hey,
I was wondering if any of you knew if the the 320 or 325 Ricks are still in production? The only 320/325's i see on rickenbacker.com are the Lennon replica models. I know black is classic, but gettin at 325 in a Fireglow would be cool...

Hey. Don't think so. The 325C64 is in production but not as yet released (hopefully in out in late 2005 but not many of those will see retail). Used is your only option for a Fireglow 325 -- and they're pricey, certainly.

Ringo has one! He's probably not letting go of it, though...

But he gave that guitar to Ringo later on.

Pick up a used 320/325 and have it refinished in FG.

But, of course I would say that.

Yes, Brian, that is John. And thanks, Jeff, for letting Brian know that the guitar in question is now the property of Ringo, as I had said.

And Paul, even though it's you saying it, it's really the only reasonable and likely successful way to go for what Sam wants.

A friend of mine (yes, I DO have friends) has what I think is a '79 320 in Fireglo (with f-hole) with which he might be willing to part. I could dig up some info on it and post something later, if anyone is interested.

Let me get some info from him. I should be able to post pictures and description late tonight or tomorrow...sooner, if I'm lucky.

Here is a pic of my buddy's guitar. Am I correct in assuming it's a 320? I believe it's a '79. If I am wrong, some one please let me know.
Thanks!
