Rare colour....any ideas?
I was in a guitar shop I never normally go in (due to the owned being an ignorant/grumpy sh1t!) and I went in as he had some particular leads none of the other local shops had and I saw a Ric in there - to me it looked like a BG but I asked him what it was and he said it was a rare colour out in the late 60's (It was on a 375 guitar I think) and it wasn't BG. Is he BullS*itting or was there a rare colour out then?
Tell me does it feel the same when you've set upon a change but your heart's in the old times?
Oh, that's a BS call Ronan. Send him to Coventry..Possibly...
The BG from the late 60's is very dark, like eggplant. http://www.homestead.com/aurs2/basses.html.
Check out the 4005 on the left. If it's BG it should look like that. Could it be a Fireglo that has darkened over the years?
