Classic Axe Guitar Shop

Post by steverok »

I was up in DC this past weekend, and visited Classic Axe Guitar Shop in Manasses. He has about 15 Ric's on the wall, including a 360-12 in midnight blue. I don't see how blueburst can be more attractive than midnight blue - WOW ! It is darker than the old midnight blue, and also has the new headstock. Other than the difficult nut, it is very sweet, sounds really great, if you are looking for one of these, I recommend this one. I would have bought it, if I didn't already own a FG which plays really well, but this one is a little less unruly than mine, and sounds great. He also has a "Patrick McGee" model (forum member) - a 370 in burgandyglo, which is really nice, and sounds great. If you are looking for one of these, I would not hesitate on this one, it is a winner. He also has these Traynor amps, which sound really good, especially with the 12 string. I almost bought them both, but will probably buy neither.
