What do you think? $2500.00 BIN

Bit much without the MOP inlays.

Jim, yes it is a little rich. Just seeing if the timing is there for someone who wants it badly, like I've done many times before(??). I just got another 73 made in the same month for the same price (burgandyglo) with a neck I could not live without ie. children, wife, house, food etc. So I am selling this one, although I am a fireglo guy, to make up for this purchase. The reserve is lower than the BIN. If you're interested email me.

Hi Mike,
A much as I'd love to I'd be dead meat if I bought another Ric before Christmas, looks nice though !!!

My 72 Fireglo purchase from earlier this year helped a lot ... now if it were a Fireglo 4000 .... hmmmmm !!!!!

Mike,

Your bass is a fine example and I'm sure you'll find a buyer. My '72 4001 FG arrived today from Texas so, like Jim, I would get shot if I so much as looked at another Rickenbacker right now!

Jim, I'm still on for that arm wrestle with you over the next Fireglo 4000 which comes up!

Jim & Darren, I completely understand. I have been there many times too! Lucky for me I have this 4001 to sell and make way for the new one. That makes sense to her!

When I get the burgandyglo I will post it. The neck is possibly the best ric neck I have ever, ever played!! Thin and wide - perfect for me. I had no chance - it called me.

Funny, Ron how some of these by this month had MOP and some didn't.

True. That was the transition time from what most people have told me.
