Horseshoe questions part ll

In one of the last threads about horseshoe pickups i asked if anyone had any ideas on how to make a horseshoe pickup cover to use with the hi-gain pickup.If anyone has done this please could you e-mail me with how it was done thank you.

Good eye Ken, Yeah that's a squarewave TIG welder on the left-MIG w/spool gun on right.

Left out photos of my DC inverter cause it won't do Aluminium well. No money for an AC/DC inverter-unless I sell something I don't play.

Thanks Jarad just trying to work out how to go about getting it made the diagrams are a big help but any steps on making them would be very helpfull as i have been looking for something like this for a long while.

Do you want something like this,

which fits OVER the hi-gain? You don't even have to unsolder the wire leads.

This has to be handmade as the angle of each p'up varies slightly on the older 4001s. The only critical measurement is the bolt hole centers. The height can be determined by personal preference.

The other model

incorporates the mounting plate, so the screw hole become critical. Again I do not have a template or diagram-just use the original

You can try "[email protected]" or "[email protected]"

I get any email addressed to my domain whether there is an actual account name/email by that particular name.
