OK, Please take it easy on me as I don't know much about Rick guitars, but a lot about Rick steels. Whats the **** on the Ken Roberts model. Looks like a pretty cool archtop with maybe the best steel guitar pickup ever made. Is it the same as the steel pickup? What's it sound like? How's the playability? What are they worth?

Richard, there's on on eBay US right now in pretty good nick, and I think it'll see $2500.00 or perhaps more.

Another recently sold for substantially less, but it was not in as good condition.

Playability...well, it's a half-century-old archtop, so this depends upon many factors. I don't know if it's the same pickup as on the steel, but it one HOT pickup nonetheless!
