RICKENBACKER FORUM CALENDAR for 2006

It is a bit late to be doing this, but better late than never.
I've gotten permission from John Hall and Peter to produce 2 Rickenbacker Forum calendars for 2006.
There will be a guitar calendar and a bass calendar. Each calendar will have a cover image and a different image for each month, for a total of thirteen images per calendar.
So, of course, I'm soliciting good pictures of member's guitars and basses.
Some criteria:
The theme of this calendar project will be a celebration of the beauty and variety of Rickenbacker guitars and basses through the years. The plan is to include pictures of guitars from each style trend, from the 1930s through the present time. There will also be some surprise pictures which will be revealed later.
In keeping with this theme, what I'm looking for will be well-photographed pictures, either of single guitars or multiple instruments, or nice detail shots like the small example posted here. Please, no people in the shots, no Godzilla action figures or things of that type, and no "girlie" stuff.
Any member of the Rickenbacker Forum may submit photos, subject to the criteria stated in this post.
Maximum number of pictures submitted can be ten per member.
The pictures may be in landscape or portrait format, 150 DPI minimum (300 DPI is better), at least 8X10" at this resolution.
Pictures may be cropped and/or retouched by me, although every effort will be made to render the guitars in as much detail fidelity as possible.
Because of the size of the digital files, they should be sent to me snail mail in any sort of removable storage media, but your media will not be returned.
So I'd advise burning a CD-ROM with your digital images on it in .jpg format.
If you wish, you can send large analog prints, if they are clear and rendered on glossy paper.
Lastly, please provide written descriptions of the year and model of the guitar or bass.
In the event of any sort of dispute or confusion over the selection of images, those images which qualify or their proxy tickets, will be picked at random from a hat (we'll use my "Grumpy" baseball cap). Decisions will be final.
If response is sufficient, we'll be doing this in subsequent years as well.
Depending upon the number and quality of submissions, selection will be based upon artistic and technical merit; in other words: how well does the subject matter conform to the theme, and how well will it reproduce?
Those whose guitars and basses are selected will be credited in a caption on each picture.
The example above shows a detail shot, although it is possible that the picture featured could be of an entire instrument, several instruments, or a montage of photos of one instrument, combining whole body shots with a number of details.
