Tarnished tuners, bridge

Post by flyernut »

Can anyone give me an idea what I need to do to keep my tuners from tarnishig? They are completely dull. The screws on the bridge look like they are rusting. I keep the guitar in it's case most of the time. Usually in an air-conditioned/heated room. The tuners are Kluson deluxe, and it's a standard bridge.

Maas, absolutely, for that awful nickel plate tarnish.Really dramatic results on 60s and 70s Kluson bass tuners!
